Supermoon and blue moon

If you look up at the sky today you'll see the full moon is bigger and brighter. According to NASA, January's first full moon -- nicknamed a wolf moon -- will take place on January 1 and it will be a supermoon. It'll be the first of 2018 and it will be closely followed by another just weeks later. .

When there are two full moons in one month,  the second is called 'a blue moon'. This does not usually happen (once every two or three years), that's why we have the expression 'once in a blue moon'

 Happy new year everybody!
