https://www.speaky.com/

It's a language exchange community where you can instatnly practice English with people around the world. It's free and you can speak directly from their platform (you don't need skype or any other program). Say what your native tongue is, say what languate you'd like to practice and the system will show you people you could  talk to. Some of my students tried, made friends, talked a lot,  and just last year went to the USA to visit their friends!

Just give it a go!

Supermoon and blue moon

If you look up at the sky today you'll see the full moon is bigger and brighter. According to NASA, January's first full moon -- nicknamed a wolf moon -- will take place on January 1 and it will be a supermoon. It'll be the first of 2018 and it will be closely followed by another just weeks later. .

When there are two full moons in one month,  the second is called 'a blue moon'. This does not usually happen (once every two or three years), that's why we have the expression 'once in a blue moon'

 Happy new year everybody!
